Walk-in wardrobes in Wembley Park
A walk-in wardrobe can also be part of a bedroom. Where a bedroom is large enough, a section can be set aside with a partition or a run of units, either open to the room or behind doors. Any new partition wall is for your builder, while we make and fit the furniture. People normally come to us about proper shoe storage and a bedroom without crowded wardrobes, and the answer is made in our workshop from MDF made to resist moisture and birch plywood, then spray-painted or hand-painted.
Many newer homes have tall windows or full-height glazing in the bedroom, which leaves fewer walls for storage. Many homes around Wembley Park were built since 2000, and fitted furniture can use every part of the solid walls. Corners are designed in rather than left as dead space.
Materials are named in the quote: moisture-resistant MDF, birch plywood or both, depending on the design. The finish is stated too, whether that’s spray painting or hand painting.

What happens on fitting day
You’re welcome to ask questions while we work. The design, materials and finish were settled before anything was made, so fitting day is about putting it in place carefully and leaving the room tidy. The time the fitting takes depends on the size of the room and the design, and we confirm the fitting days in your quote. Walls in newer homes are often plasterboard on studs, so on fitting day heavy pieces go into the studs or stand on the floor. Floors are covered while we work, and dust is kept to a minimum.
- We start with the space and the clothes it needs to hold, from long coats to shoes.
- At the design visit we measure the room and plan the hanging, shelves and drawers, including any dressing table.
- We send a written quote with the design, materials and finish.
- We build everything in our workshop.
- We fit the walk-in wardrobe in your home, scribed to the walls and set level. We then check the doors and drawers with you.
Getting ready for fitting day
- Let us know where the boiler and meters are
- Make sure pets are kept safely away
- Clear the area where the furniture is going
Ask for a quote
The design visit is where every quote starts. We take full measurements, see how true the walls and floors are and work through the design together. A quote in writing follows the visit. To book one, send us a few details through our contact form.

Why people ask for walk-in wardrobes in Wembley Park
Sharing one wardrobe between two rarely works for long. A walk-in wardrobe can be planned with a side for each, so both have room.
Some of the things we’re asked to solve include:
- Somewhere to sit and get ready
- A use for a small spare room
- Moving wardrobes out of the bedroom
- A walk-in wardrobe within the bedroom

- Will they visit to measure before quoting?

Questions from Wembley Park
Do you make walk-in wardrobes for homes in Wembley Park?
Yes. We cover all of Brent and the rest of London, and Wembley Park is part of that. We start with a design visit to measure the room and talk through what you need, and then we send a quote.
Do you cover homes near Wembley Stadium station?
Yes. We cover all of Brent and the rest of London. To get started, you can message us from the contact page with a few details about the room, and tell us about parking and access at the same time.
My walls aren’t straight. Is that a problem?
That is normal in older homes, and it’s what scribing is for. Edges are scribed to the wall, and adjustable feet or a plinth bring the furniture up to level.
How do you get large furniture into a flat?
It’s made in sections. At the design visit, we measure the route along with the room itself.
Do I need permission in a conservation area?
Not usually. Conservation area controls are largely about how buildings look from outside, and furniture inside a house does not normally need it. In a listed building, check with the council’s conservation officer before any work.
How are walk-in wardrobes priced?
There’s no price list: each design is priced in writing after we’ve seen the space. A box room with rails and shelves and a full dressing room with drawers and a dressing table are very different jobs, so we price it after the design visit. To get started, drop us a line using the contact form.
Flats, conversions and leaseholders
We also make and fit furniture for landlords furnishing a let, as it makes good use of an tricky room. The materials are the same as for any home: moisture-resistant MDF and birch plywood, finished by spray or by hand.
Some blocks ask for notice before trades arrive, often through a building manager or concierge. Lifts sometimes need to be booked, and the lift size helps decide how big each section can be. Mention it when you contact us.
Bedroom storage in Wembley Park
Homes built since 2000 make up about 57% of the housing in the neighbourhood around Wembley Park, with about 29% built between 1919 and 1939, on the Valuation Office Agency’s council tax figures for 2025. That matters for walk-in wardrobes, as the build era decides whether a wall is solid brick, lath and plaster, block or plasterboard. Entries on the National Heritage List near the centre of Wembley Park include Brent Town Hall (Grade II), under half a mile north-east, and Wembley Hill Lodge (Grade II), about 0.5 miles south-west. If your own home is listed, works inside that affect its character, like fixing into or removing original joinery, may need listed building consent. An early word with the council’s conservation officer is the best first step. The ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) now covers the whole of London, Brent included. Vans bringing furniture to Wembley Park fall under it, just as they do across the rest of London. How the van gets to your door is planned at the measuring visit.
If you live in a flat close to Wembley Stadium station, it helps to book the lift and tell the concierge before fitting day. For an older house near St Augustine, a bedroom chimney breast and its alcoves often shape where walk-in wardrobes go.

What affects the cost of walk-in wardrobes
Every room is different, so every job is quoted on its own. This is what makes the difference:
- Whether you choose a spray or hand-painted finish
- The internal fittings
- The width and height of the space
- Doors and drawers, and how many
In London, parking can affect the price. Much of London is covered by controlled parking zones, so a van may need a visitor permit, a paid bay or a bay suspension. Let us know about parking at the measuring visit.
Helping us understand the room
The more you can tell us at the start, the better the design visit goes. When you contact us, it helps to send:
- Anything in the way, such as radiators, sockets, switches, a boiler or meters
- The type of home and how the room is reached
- What you’d like to store or use the space for
- Your postcode and the borough
To get a quote for walk-in wardrobes in Wembley Park, message us from the contact page. Tell us which room it is and roughly what you have in mind. Next comes a design visit, followed by a written quote.
