About our loft storage in Wembley Park
The low space behind a knee wall is often the most useful in the room. Cupboards and drawers set into the knee wall make that space useful. Drawers bring the back of the space within reach. We measure and plan for the space you have in Wembley Park. Typical reasons to get in touch are furniture that can’t get up to the loft and a boarded loft with no proper shelving; the furniture is made from moisture-resistant MDF and strong birch plywood, with a painted finish.
A large number of homes around Wembley Park date from 2000 onwards, and newer homes rarely come with much storage. Fitted storage can turn a hallway recess, a landing or the space under the stairs into somewhere useful. Walls in newer homes are often plasterboard on timber or metal studs, so the fixings are chosen for that.
The quote comes in writing, so there is time to read it properly and share it with anyone else involved. It covers the design, materials and finish agreed at the visit.

Loft storage for homes in Wembley Park
Homes built since 2000 make up about 57% of the housing in the area around Wembley Park, with about 29% built between 1919 and 1939, in the VOA’s 2025 council tax stock figures. The age of a home tells us a lot about its walls, floors and ceilings, and so about how eaves cupboards are fixed and fitted. Near the centre of Wembley Park, Historic England’s list includes Brent Town Hall (Grade II), less than half a mile north-east, and Wembley Hill Lodge (Grade II), about 0.5 miles south-west. Listing covers the inside of a building as well as the outside, so works that affect a listed home’s character, like removing original joinery, can require listed building consent. Check with the council’s conservation officer first. A quarter or more of the homes in the neighbourhood around Wembley Park (about 29%) date from between 1919 and 1939, on the Valuation Office Agency’s council tax figures for 2025. Loft conversions are common in houses of that age, and the eaves can take fitted storage; we build the storage once the loft is converted or boarded.
Close to St. Raphael's Edible Garden? Eaves cupboards can be designed to hold outdoor kit, from walking boots to picnic things. If your home is one of the older houses near St Augustine, the low eaves and slopes of a converted loft are worth using. For a flat near Wembley Stadium station, the lift, the stair turns and the front door all set the largest piece that can come in.

Tips worth knowing
Fitted furniture is part of the room, so it’s worth looking after. Here are a few tips worth knowing:
- Note the things that need a home in the loft
- Make room so the whole loft can be measured
- Tell us about parking during the design visit
- Count the clothes you’ll need to hang
Small marks on a hand-painted finish can be touched in. It is worth keeping a record of the paint colour. If anything isn’t right with the storage, use our contact form and we will talk it through.
Temperatures in a loft room can swing more than elsewhere. Keep the room ventilated. That keeps the storage and the paint in good order.

FAQs: loft storage in Wembley Park
I live near Wembley Stadium station. Is that in your area?
Yes. We cover all of Brent and the rest of London. To get started, you can use our contact form with a few details about the room, and tell us about parking and access at the same time.
My home in Wembley Park is a flat. How do you get the furniture in?
We measure the route in not just the room: the stairs, landings, lift and doors. Eaves cupboards are made in our workshop in sections sized to fit that route, then assembled in your flat. It helps to check any building rules and your lease before fitting day.
Do pictures help?
Yes, they help. Pictures of the whole wall or room, including the floor and ceiling, give us a good idea of the space, particularly with rough sizes. To send them, tell us about the room on our contact form.
Do you work on Saturdays?
Yes, Saturdays are possible by prior arrangement. Let us know when you first get in touch, and we’ll see what we can do.
Do I need to be at home on fitting day?
Someone needs to be there to let us in. After that, you do not need to stay in the room, but it’s useful to be around at the end.
Is the furniture spray painted or hand painted?
You can choose between two finishes: spray painted or hand painted. Spray painting gives a smooth, even finish, and hand painting is easy to touch up.
What happens on fitting day
When we arrive on fitting day, the first job is covering the floors and protecting the way in from the front door. Next, we carry in the sections made at our workshop, a piece at a time. How long fitting takes depends on how much storage you want in the loft, and the fitting days are agreed in your quote. Newer homes often have stud walls, so on fitting day heavy pieces go into the studs or stand on the floor. Floors are covered while we work, and dust is kept to a minimum.
- You contact us about storage in your converted loft.
- We visit to measure the loft and the way up, including the top flight and any tight turn.
- A quote in writing follows, covering the design, materials and finish.
- Everything is built in our workshop from moisture-resistant MDF and birch plywood, in sections small enough for the loft stairs.
- We carry the sections up, join them in the room and scribe them to fit. The finish is sprayed in the workshop or hand-painted in the loft.
Getting ready for fitting day
- Take anything hanging off the wall we’re fitting to
- Check the building’s rules for trades and lift bookings
- Empty the space we’ll be working in
Getting a quote
Getting a quote starts with some details: which room it is, rough measurements and a couple of photos if you can take them. To send them, message us from the contact page. We will then arrange a design visit and follow it with a written quote.

Could you do it yourself?
Where bespoke earns its keep is in rooms that are not square. In period homes, walls lean, floors slope and the alcoves on each side are often different widths.
Off-the-shelf furniture can be a sensible choice. In a room with square walls and standard sizes, it can work well.
How we price loft storage
The price for your room depends on:
- Doors and drawers, and how many
- How easy it is to get the furniture into the room
- How square the room is
- Where a van can park, like a permit bay or a bay suspension
Your quote is written for your room once we’ve visited and measured. A larger piece means more material and more time. Doors, drawers, internal fittings and the finish make up most of the rest.
What we need to know
Here’s what helps us most when you contact us:
- Photos of the whole wall or room, including the floor and ceiling
- Rough sizes, even if they’re only to the nearest few centimetres
- Examples of the look you’re after
- Radiators, sockets, pipes or meters on or near the wall
The quote is built from the design visit. We take full measurements, see how true the walls and floors are and work through the design together. Afterwards, we send a quote in writing for you to look over. To book one, send us a few details through our contact form.
How it is made
Plinths and scribe strips
We trim scribe strips to the exact line of the wall and ceiling. They help the storage look as though it was always there. The plinth does the same job at the floor.
Spray-painted finish
A spray-painted finish works well on every part of the storage. We do it in our workshop, where the finish can be kept even. Any paint colour agreed with you can be used.
