Beam Park Bespoke Kitchens

Few London rooms are perfectly square, and we scribe the furniture to follow the walls. We make bespoke kitchens for homes in Beam Park, each designed at a visit to your home.

  • A kitchen island with room around it
  • Extra cupboard space
  • A painted kitchen in a colour you choose

How we make bespoke kitchens for Beam Park

We make kitchens to fit the room, not a catalogue of set sizes. Every unit is sized from careful measurements taken during the design visit, so the runs fit neatly from wall to wall. The layout, storage and finish are planned with you, and the kitchen is built in our workshop before it’s fitted. People normally come to us about a kitchen finished in your colours and cabinets for a narrow kitchen; the furniture is made from moisture-resistant MDF and strong birch plywood, with a painted finish.

In many homes built since 2000, the kitchen runs along one wall of the living space. Around Beam Park, many homes date from 2000 onwards, and a run like that works harder with tall cupboards taken to the ceiling. You choose the worktop, sink and appliances.

The written quote puts the design visit in writing: the layout, what goes inside, the materials used and the finish. If you’d like to change anything, it’s easier before the furniture is made.

What bespoke kitchens cannot fix

We’d rather be clear about where our work stops:

  • Structural changes to the room
  • Electrics, sockets and lighting (your electrician)
  • Painting the walls around the kitchen

Not sure whether your space suits bespoke kitchens? You can fill in our short enquiry form and we will tell you. How it works.

What goes into it

  • Islands where space allows
  • Moisture-resistant MDF
  • Birch plywood
  • Spray-painted finish
  • Hand-painted finish
  • Larders and dressers

Pricing bespoke kitchens in Beam Park

The price reflects the time and materials the job needs. The main factors are:

  • What goes inside: rails, shelves, drawers and dividers
  • The width and height of the space
  • Doors and drawers, and how many
  • The finish: spray painted or hand painted

We do not publish set prices, because every piece is designed for one room. We measure up, discuss the design and send a written quote. To start, message us from the contact page.

Before the design visit

Some details help us understand the job before we visit. It’s useful to include:

  • Any ideas or images you’ve saved
  • What you’d like to store or use the space for
  • Anything fixed to the wall that the furniture needs to work around
  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit

A quote begins with some details from you: the room, rough measurements and some pictures if you have them. To send them, fill in our short enquiry form. We’ll then arrange a design visit and follow it with a written quote.

FAQs: bespoke kitchens in Beam Park

Do you make bespoke kitchens for homes in Beam Park?

Yes, Beam Park is within the area we cover, which takes in all of Havering and the rest of London. The first step is a design visit, where we measure and discuss the design, followed by a quote.

Do you cover homes near Dagenham Dock station?

Yes, homes across Havering and the rest of London are within the area we cover. To get started, you can get in touch through our contact form with a few details about the room, and let us know about parking and access at the same time.

Do I need permission to fit furniture in a leasehold flat?

Possibly. Leases vary, and some need consent for alterations. Your lease is something we can’t advise on.

What happens at the measuring visit?

We take full measurements, look at the walls and floors and work through the design together. We’ll also ask about access and parking, and afterwards we send a written quote.

How is the furniture painted?

There are two options: spray painting, done in the workshop for a smooth, even finish, or hand painting, which can be done on site. The finish is agreed in your quote.

What if the stairs or lift are small?

It is made in sections, each one sized to fit the way in. That’s why we measure the stairs, lift and doorways at the design visit.

Practical tips

Most of what helps is simple. What we’d suggest:

  • Talk to your other trades in good time
  • Allow space to walk round an island
  • Tell us about parking at the measuring visit
  • List what needs a home in the kitchen

New paintwork takes a while to harden after fitting. Go easy on the painted surfaces at first and avoid harsh cleaners. After that, a soft cloth and mild soapy water is enough.

Line up your other trades in good time. The pipes, cables and gas supply need to suit the layout, and it’s easier when everyone works from the same design.

Could you do it yourself?

Cost matters, and it’s fair to say so: flat-pack is normally cheaper to buy. Bespoke makes more sense where the room is tricky, the space is valuable or you want the furniture to look built in.

If you’re handy, a simple shelf or a standard wardrobe in a square room is a reasonable DIY job. Sloping ceilings, uneven floors and lath-and-plaster walls make it harder, because scribing and the right fixings start to matter.

Kitchens in Beam Park: local notes

Homes built since 2000 make up about 43% of the housing in the area around Beam Park, with about 34% built between 1945 and 1972, on the Valuation Office Agency’s council tax figures for 2025. That matters for kitchens, as the build era decides whether a wall is solid brick, lath and plaster, block or plasterboard. Strict stopping rules apply on red routes, which TfL runs. If you live on or close to a main road in Beam Park, let us know during the design visit. We will plan where the van can stop. About 42% of households in the area around Beam Park live in detached or semi-detached houses, based on Census 2021. A house like that normally has more rooms to plan around than a flat, and sometimes a driveway that makes unloading easier.

Rainham Hall, about 1 mile south-east, is one of the historic houses in the wider area. If your own home is a period one, a narrow back addition or an old chimney breast may shape the kitchen layout. If you live near Beam Valley Country Park, a tall cupboard for outdoor things can be part of the kitchen design. For families living near Newtons Primary School, a drawer set aside for lunch boxes and water bottles keeps mornings calmer.

What happens on fitting day

The last stage of the day is the finish. If the furniture was spray painted in the workshop, we fill the fixing holes and touch up on site; hand painting, if that’s what you chose, can be done in place once everything is fitted. Either way, the finish is the one set out in your quote. Newer developments sometimes have their own parking and loading rules, so it is useful to let us know at the measuring visit. On fitting day, the sections are carried in, assembled and fixed. Saturday fitting is possible by prior arrangement.

  1. First, you tell us about the room.
  2. We visit, measure and discuss the layout, larder, dresser or island.
  3. You receive a quote in writing, setting out the cabinets, materials and finish.
  4. Everything is made at our workshop from moisture-resistant MDF and birch plywood.
  5. We fit the kitchen in your home, while your plumber, a Gas Safe engineer and your electrician do the plumbing, gas and electrics. It helps to have those trades booked in good time.

Before fitting day

  • Let us know if your street is in a controlled parking zone
  • Clear the hallway and stairs so the sections can come through
  • Move furniture and belongings away from the wall

Ask for a quote

The design visit is where every quote starts. We measure the room properly, check how the walls and floors run and discuss the design with you. A quote in writing follows the visit, so you can take your time with it. To book one, drop us a line using the contact form.
