Walk-in wardrobes in Limmo Peninsula
A box room is often too small for a bed but just right for a dressing room. Fitted out from wall to wall, it can take the clothes that crowd the bedroom, and the bedroom itself feels calmer. The layout leaves room to move and to see what you have. We make walk-in wardrobes from moisture-resistant MDF and strong birch plywood, with a painted finish, and the things people most often want solved are somewhere to sit and get ready and turning a box room into a dressing room.
A large share of the homes around Limmo Peninsula date from 2000 onwards, and a newer bedroom seldom comes with storage that fits how you live. Walk-in wardrobes can be designed around the window, the radiator and the door swing, so the room still works. Where the flat is in a managed block, check the rules on deliveries and lifts before fitting day.
The written quote puts the design visit in writing: the layout, what goes inside, the materials used and the finish. If you’d like to change anything, it is easier before the furniture is made.

When you need someone else
Before you plan the job, it helps to know what we don’t do:

- Electrical work in the room
- Damp treatment or repairs
If you’re not sure what’s possible in your room, you can fill in our short enquiry form and we’ll give you a straight answer before you arrange a visit. How it works.

How it’s made
Doors and drawer fronts
Drawers keep smaller clothes and accessories tidy, and they can sit below the hanging or shelves.
Hand-painted finish
A hand-painted finish can be done on site, once the units are fitted. It’s easy to touch up later.
Flats, blocks and rented homes
If the property is let, we will need access agreed with the tenants, at times that suit them. An agent can arrange access for you, and the written quote can go to whoever needs it.
For flats on red routes or busy main roads, unloading takes some planning. TfL runs the red routes, and the stopping rules are strict, so let us know about it during the design visit.
Bespoke walk-in wardrobes or ready-made?
Neither choice is right for every home. In a square room with a tight budget, a ready-made system may be enough. Where the room is tricky or you want it to feel built in, bespoke is usually the better fit. Rooms in newer homes are often compact, and standard depths can take too much floor, whereas fitted pieces can be as shallow as the space needs. It still uses the full height.
We do not publish set prices, because each job is designed for a single room. Instead, we measure, go through the design and then quote in writing. To start, get in touch through our contact form.

How fitting day works
Every fitting follows the same order: we protect the floors, bring the sections in, set them level, scribe them to the walls, fix them and finish them. Then the room is tidied and we look over the work with you. The time the fitting takes depends on how much hanging, shelving and drawer space goes in, and we confirm the fitting days in your quote. Parking at newer developments can be restricted, with private bays or loading areas, so let us know what applies at the measuring visit. On fitting day, the sections are carried in, assembled and fixed. Saturdays can be arranged.
- We start with the space and the clothes it needs to hold.
- At the design visit we measure the room and plan the hanging, shelves and drawers.
- We send a quote in writing with the design, materials and finish.
- We build everything in our workshop.
- We fit the walk-in wardrobe in your home, scribed to the walls and set level.
Getting ready for fitting day
- Let us know where the boiler and meters are
- Let us know if your street is in a controlled parking zone
- If you live in a block, book the lift and tell the building manager
Getting a quote
There’s no price list: each design is priced in writing after we’ve seen the space. Because every room is different, the quote comes after the design visit. For a quote, send us a few details through our contact form.
Advice
Your questions about walk-in wardrobes in Limmo Peninsula
Do you make walk-in wardrobes for homes in Limmo Peninsula?
Yes, we work across Newham, Limmo Peninsula included, and across the rest of London. You can drop us a line using the contact form to arrange a design visit.
How do you fit walk-in wardrobes in a flat in Limmo Peninsula?
We measure the route in along with the room itself: the stairs, landings, lift and doors. Walk-in wardrobes are built in our workshop in sections sized to fit that route, then assembled in your flat. If your building has rules on lift booking or working hours, or your lease needs consent for alterations, it’s worth checking those early.
Does someone need to be home during the fitting?
Someone needs to let us in at the start of the day. It’s good to have someone there at the end to look over the work with us.
Do pictures help?
Yes, they help. Photos of the whole wall or room, including the floor and ceiling, give us a good idea of the space. You can send them when you message us from the contact page.
Should a walk-in wardrobe have doors?
That depends on how you like to use the space. Doors, open rails and shelves can all be combined, and we will talk it through at the measuring visit.
How long does fitting take?
The time the fitting takes depends on the room and how much is fitted into it, and we confirm the fitting days in your quote. We’ll talk it through at the measuring visit.
